Multiply

Maths Week Scotland is back in September 2024 and the theme will be 'Maths Tales', looking at how Maths is used to tell stories. Whether it's the link between maths and literature, the history of maths and prominent mathematicians, or the stories woven in to maths trails and escape rooms.

This session was part of the Winter Learning Festival for CLD organised by professional networks across Scotland. 

The aim of this session was to learn from practitioners experiences so far of planning and implementing the Multiply Programme across 8 local authority areas in the Glasgow City Region. 

The Multiply 123 numeracy programme offers free courses and activities to people living in the West of Scotland across 8 local authorities: 

• South Lanarkshire Council

• West Dunbartonshire Council

• Inverclyde Council

• North Lanarkshire Counci;

• Renfrewshire Council

• East Renfrewshire Council

• Glasgow City Council

• East Dunbartonshire Council
