Has anyone recently done (or is planning to do) a needs assesment in their locality or literacy learning needs? I am trying to think of imaginative ways to do this other than the usual clipboard approach to unsuspecting members of the public!
Any thoughts would be very welcome.

Dunno if this would work where you are, but loads of communities seem to have social media sites like 'the only way is......' and so on. It might be worthwhile using that to gain access to members of the community and as well as putting stuff online, it's also a good way to advertise the service you'd like to provide.
