National Youth Work Awards 2020
Get nominating!! The deadline for the 13th National Youth Work Awards is 5pm on 25 November 2019.
The National Youth Work Awards celebrates youth work and the youth workers who make a difference every year in the lives of young people. They are aimed at individual youth workers, managers, projects or groups for work that is delivered in youth work settings or in other settings, using a youth work approach. The awards are a mixture of universal, targeted and specialist youth work provision.
This year's categories are:
- Arts & Creativity (sponsored by Creative Scotland)
- Attainment & Skills (sponsored by Education Scotland)
- Community-based Youth Work (sponsored by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service)
- Digital & STEM (sponsored by The Prince's Trust)
- Environment & Conservation
- Equality & Diversity
- Faith & Culture (sponsored by YMCA Scotland)
- Inspirational Leader (sponsored by Scottish Government)
- Mental Health & Wellbeing (sponsored by BBC Children in Need)
- Participation & Youth Voice (sponsored by Scottish Government)
- Team of the Year (sponsored by CLD Standards Council for Scotland)
- Volunteer Youth Worker (sponsored by Young Scot)
- Youth Justice & Prevention
- Youth Worker of the Year
And finally, the Lifetime Achievement award. This award is in the gift of the Board of YouthLink Scotland. Nominations may be submitted in the normal way or via the YouthLink Scotland Board.
